The Idaho Interagency Council on Secondary Transition would like to invite you to budget for and plan to attend the thirteenth annual Tools for Life: Secondary Transition and Technology Fair on March 6-7, 2017 at the Red Lion Hotel in Pocatello, ID.

Tools for Life is for secondary educators, post-secondary educators, special education staff, therapists, counselors, service providers, job developers, other rehabilitation specialists, and especially high school students with disabilities and their families. Throughout the two-day event, there will be nationally recognized keynote speakers and over 45 breakout sessions by state, regional, and national experts on higher education, employment, community life, relationships, recreation, guardianship, assistive technology, and more. Past Tools for Life Fairs have attracted approximately 500 attendees each year.

An Exhibitor Hall will be open both days to allow higher education institutions, state agencies, and vendors the opportunity to promote their organizations, present resources, and demonstrate their newest products.

Registration is $75.00 per adult. An early-bird price of $50 will be available to all adults who register and pay by January 15, 2017. Registration is $10 per student. Hotel room and food stipends are available for students who wish to attend! The conference fills up so please register early!

The Tools for Life Fair is sponsored in part by the Idaho State Department of Education, Idaho Interagency Council on Secondary Transition, Idaho Assistive Technology Project, Idaho Parents Unlimited, Center on Disabilities and Human Development, Idaho Education Services for the Deaf and Blind, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Rights Idaho, Computers for Kids, Idaho Impact, Key Bank, and Mountain West Bank
