The advisory board will be comprised of parents or guardians of children with special health care needs as a majority. Other advisory board members will be identified and decided upon with parent input.
This project recognizes that families are the most important care providers to their children and youth with special health care needs. Families are essential partners as they can provide unique expertise and perspective to policy discussions and decision making processes regarding the constantly changing health care system in Idaho. This project will look to family members as integral team members who are actively involved at all levels of project implementation.
