|From Thursday, April 18, 2013|
To Friday, April 19, 2013
|Hits : 5800|
Registration will be open January 28, 2013
This year's conference is intended for representatives from schools, law enforcement, community coalitions, the judiciary, probation / parole, parents and the foster care system. Noted author and speaker Jamie Vollmer, whose goal is to help educators and their allies remove the obstacles to progress and create schools that unfold the potential of every child, will open the conference through presentation and guided discussion to frame how schools and communities collectively contribute to every child's success. Participants will not only be exposed to excellent collaborative practice from across the state, but will be clustered with others from similar communities to allow guided networking and planning time throughout the conference. As you register for this conference, please consider key community stakeholders who support school success and invite them to attend along with you. Through reframing our work and exposure to fresh ideas and practices, attendees will leave with new partners and concrete strategies to increase effectiveness in supporting the healthy development of youth in Idaho.
The 20th Annual Idaho State Prevention Conference is a gathering focused on innovation,
best practices, collective problem-solving and motivation to most effectively address youth
risk behaviors, foster optimal health and academic success for Idaho Students.
